As the Durango logo was activated for the first time in the Las Vegas skyline on Thursday night, ahead of the resort's grand opening, the Las Vegas skyline has a new addition to it.



As part of the tower set to open to the public in late 2023, the tower will feature an 18-foot-tall and 42-foot-wide backlit agave logo, as well as 42-foot-wide DURANGO letters at the top. Durango Casino & Resort is a casino and resort that is located near I-215 and Durango Drive. Following the approval of the Clark County Commission for the new resort by Station Casinos in March 2022, construction for the new resort is scheduled to begin in April 2022.

A 200-room hotel will be the main feature of the resort, along with 40 electric vehicle charging stations, as well as 20,000 square feet of meeting and event space. According to reports, the new casino will have 83,000 square feet of gaming space, which will include both slots and table games. As well as a variety of high-limit slots and table games, there will be a race and sports book and a variety of high-limit slots and table games available as well.

A "Eat Your Heart Out Food Hall" will be part of the resort's dining offerings. It will offer dishes such as Irv's Burgers, Prince Street Pizza, Philadelphia's Fiorella by Marc Vetri, Ai Pono Café, Shang Artisan Noodle, Vesta Coffee, Nielsen’s Frozen Custard, and Yu Or Mi Sushi, according to a press release from Station Casinos.
